Somewhere along the way, my own (cognitivist) schema was altered. Deadlines have become less important than family time and I can remember a time not too long ago, when it was the other way around.
Learning theories provide points of reference. There are too many to try to remember and at this point I am barely past the knowledge stage on most of them. But I really do understand the basic few, behaviorist, cognitivists, constructivist, socialists...hehe. punishments and rewards, thinking about your thinking and creating your own knowledge structures. Whatever!!
